The Thermal Process-Color PAL answers the need for full color labels on short runs, without the expense of a large inventory of preprinted labels. With 305 dpi resolution, the Thermal transfer printing utilizes four print heads and prints at 4-6" per second. The digital Color Printer employs state-of-the-art technology which is reflected in the quality of label output. It can process labels from 1 to 4.65 inches wide. The printing is done in 256 process color. When a specific color ribbon is not required, it does not advance. Ribbon saver is standard, as is a Thermal Head dot check. The flash ROM is 4 MB and the D-RAM is 8 MB with 32 MB as an option. The Thermal Process-Color PAL can print from .4 to 3.9 inches in width and uses a standard 300 m. roll of ribbon.
