MCS LAUNCHES ANVILCAD LITE WINDOWS-BASED MCAD SOFTWARE.

Manufacturing and Consulting Services (MCS) has launched AnvilCAD Lite. Aimed at designers of all levels of experience, the 2D/3D design and detail drafting software package delivers full CAD functionality and online tutorials at a cost- effective price.

First in a Suite of New Products

AnvilCAD Lite is the first in a series of new products that MCS will roll out over the next year as part of a suite. The suite will introduce improvements in the learning process for CAD systems, as well as new concepts of modeling.

AnvilCAD Lite is a faster, streamlined version of MCS' proven Design Drafter package, and eliminates many of the add-on features to Design Drafter that had been included over the years at the request of individual companies. The Lite version also emphasizes multimedia coaching tools and a user interface that are especially targeted at making new and experienced users alike productive as quickly as possible.

Pricing and Support

AnvilCAD Lite is priced at $595.00, which includes 30 days of free tech support. Users have the option of purchasing an annual technical service agreement for $125.00 for ongoing support. The software is available immediately.

AnvilCAD Lite software can be used by mechanical design engineers to create a virtually unlimited array of products, such as eyeglass frames, space shuttles, race cars, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, knives, utility trailers, tires, rifles, and aircraft carriers.
