MCPHS Announces $20K Donation from Beverly-Based CutisPharma; FIRST(TM) Compounding Kits Will Teach Students Old Skill With New Technology.


BOSTON -- Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences History
Founded in 1823 by fourteen Boston pharmacists, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy is the second oldest and the largest college of pharmacy in the United States. Two years after its founding, the College published the First American Pharmaceutical Library Catalogue.
 today announced a $20,000 donation from Beverly, MA-based CutisPharma, Inc. The gift will provide the College with a set of the company's user-friendly compounding kits that will be used in the hands-on training of pharmacy students.

"The company is a national leader in helping streamline the medication preparation process, and as an institution we are constantly striving to keep our students on the cutting edge."

The donation will be comprised of CutisPharma's FIRST(TM) line of product compounding kits for pharmacies-kits containing components that are already precisely measured by the same standards adhered to by major pharmaceutical companies.
