MCK Mining Corp. Reports Final Results From Chepica Phase 1 Drill Program.

TORONTO -- MCK Mining Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MMC) ("MCK") presents final results of its Phase 1 Exploration Program of the Chepica gold copper prospect located 25 km west of Talca, Chile.

Diamond drilling began in late January and was completed in mid-March with ten (10) holes totalling 1005 metres. Results of the first three holes were reported in a press release dated March 8, 2005. The remaining holes tested Chepica 1 vein, Chepica 1B vein and Chepica 2 vein at depths ranging from 20 to 65 metres below surface corresponding to elevations between 95 metres and 130 metres above sea level.

Chepica 1 vein maintains its true width of 3.5 metres in drill hole CH-07, but copper and gold grades are significantly less than those encountered in the adit level 45 metres above the vein intersection. The same hole encountered another vein, Chepica 1B, measuring 8.9 metres true width and with sub-economic values in silver. An intense fault zone, 9.1 metres wide, between the two veins displays sub-economic values in both copper and silver. The results for Chepica 1B vein are difficult to interpret since the vein intersection was entirely within leached, oxidized material with core recoveries of less than 50 %.

Drill hole CH-08 encountered two veins: Chepica 2 vein, intersected some 30 metres below the adit level, returned low values in copper and gold over a true width of only 0.25 metres. A second vein, the south-eastward extension of the Vetarron vein system, returned sub-economic values in gold and copper over a true width of 1.5 metres.

Drill hole CH-09 encountered a 2.2 metre quartz vein (1.8 metres true width) without significant values. Drill hole CH-10, 150 metres north of CH-07, encountered a thick intersection of the Chepica 1B Vein, 11.7 metres in true width, again within the oxidized zone, with poor core recoveries and without significant values.

Drill samples are stored on site in a locked and guarded facility. Sampled sections of drill core are split by diamond saw with half of the core sent to ACME Laboratories in Santiago, Chile, an independent ISO-certified analytical laboratory. ACME prepares and assays the samples using appropriate replicate and analytical standards to ensure high-quality assurance and control. Gold assays are by standard fire assay methods while copper, lead, zinc, and silver are assayed using standard atomic absorption methods.

Simultaneously with the Chepica Phase 1 Program, prospecting on the regional Cristobal and El Peumo exploration concessions has identified several important new zones of quartz-base metal veins for follow up trenching, geochemical and geophysical surveys. This 9,150 hectare regional package stretches 20 km by 5 km in a south-west direction surrounding the core 490 hectare Chepica and Carla mining concessions.
