MCK Announces Availability of PBXtender and Value Pricing on Multi-User Teleworking Bundles.

 announced a new bundling of its award-winning EXTender products into Remote Agent/employee Multi-Packs (RAMP) 12- and 24-user packages, with cost savings of up to 25% off standard retail pricing, and over 40% off the price of individual EXTender units.

The PBXtender rack holds twelve PBXtender line cards and supports up to 24 remote workers, providing seamless voice and data connectivity between the customer's PBX (Private Branch Exchange) or Key System and a fully-featured digital set at the remote site. With MCK's EXTender solutions, remote call center agents and teleworkers have full access to all of the features on the corporate PBX, including 4-digit dialing, transfer, conferencing, as well as any application running on the PBX, such as ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) A computerized phone system that responds to the caller with a voice menu and connects the call to the appropriate agent. It can also distribute calls equally to agents.  software, unified messaging, voice mail and call accounting programs.

MCK's new Remote Agent/employee Multi-Pack (RAMP) solutions take advantage of the PBXtender's density to provide a more cost-effective solution over single unit deployments, which require an individual unit at both the remote and switch sites. The RAMP-12 package contains twelve EXTender 3000S or 3000T remote units, a PBXtender rack with switch management interface, and six ISDN line cards that support two ports per card. The RAMP-24 package contains twenty-four EXTender 3000S or 3000T remote units, a PBXtender rack with switch management interface, and twelve dual-port ISDN line cards.

Pricing and Availability

The PBXtender rack is available for the DEFINITY(R) and Nortel Meridian and Norstar switches, and carries a suggested list price of $995. PBXtender line cards may be purchased individually at $995 for the POTS line card (1 port per card) and $1,495 for the ISDN line card (2 ports per card). The RAMP-12 package has a suggested retail price of $19,995, and the RAMP-24 carries a suggested retail price of $35,995. The full-line of DEFINITY(R) products and the Nortel rack and POTS line card are available immediately. The Nortel ISDN PBXtender line card is expected to ship at the end of March 1999.
