MCI WorldCom renews commitments at northern and central New Jersey sites.

Cushman & Wakefield's Leonard Miller and Jason Imperial negotiated the multiyear leases on behalf of MCI/WorldCom as part of an ongoing relationship that spans more than five years. MCI/WorldCom is a premier provider of facilities-based and fully local, long distance, international and Internet Internet

Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
 services. The company operates in more than 65 countries.

The largest transaction involved MCI/WorldCom's 20,390 square-foot renewal at Metro Corporate Campus at 99 Wood Avenue South in Woodbridge, NJ. The firm originally located a regional sales office at the property in 1994. TA Associates owns the 200,000 square-foot building.

In addition, MCI/WorldCom renewed a 12,271 square-foot back office lease at Court Plaza North at 25 Main Street in Hackensack, NJ. Alfred Sanzari owns the building. Miller and Imperial have also been appointed to market 8,590 square feet for sublease sublease n. the lease of all or a portion of premises by a tenant who has leased the premises from the owner. A sublease may be prohibited by the original lease, or require written permission from the owner.  on behalf of MCI/WorldCom within the same building.

MCI/WorldCom also expanded and renewed its regional sales office at Cherry Tree Corporate Center in Cherry Hill Cherry Hill, township (1990 pop. 69,319), Camden co., W central N.J.; name was changed from Delaware township to Cherry Hill in 1961. Largely residential, Cherry Hill has been marked by great development and housing growth, especially since the 1970s. , NJ.

The firm originally leased 6,000 square feet there in 1995 and has expanded to 9,544 square feet. Cherry Tree Investors owns the 133,000 square-foot property.
