MCHUGH SOFTWARE CERTIFIES LXE'S MX3 WIRELESS HANDHELD COMPUTER.

LXE Inc., a subsidiary of EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ELMG) and a manufacturer of wireless data communications systems, has unveiled that McHugh Software International, Inc. has re-certified LXE's 6200 family of wireless networking infrastructure products for 900MHz radio frequency (RF) environments, to include the new MX3 wireless handheld computer. This latest certification expands LXE's and McHugh's product suite to an even more complete and flexible solution. McHugh's DigitaLogistix now supports the LXE 1280, 2280, MX1 and MX3 handheld computers, and the 1380 vehicle-mount computer, and provides a migration path from 900MHz to 2.4GHz infrastructures.

Currently, the only program of its kind, McHugh's certification program performs system reliability testing and performance verification to ensure risk-free RF and Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration.

"This recent certification of the LXE MX3 handheld computer continues to demonstrate LXE's and McHugh's commitment to quality products and proven performance. With each certification, we continue protecting our customers' investment by ensuring compatibility, ease of integration and a migration path to the latest RF networks," said Brad Johnson, vice president of LXE sales and marketing.

"We have had a long history of working with LXE to certify their RF products in McHugh's supply chain execution environment," says Gary Morgan, McHugh vice president of technical services. "We have found that LXE shares the commitment to quality, reliability and performance that is the foundation of our certification program," added Morgan.
