LANCASTER -- Country music star Reba McEntire Reba Nell McEntire (born March 28, 1955) is a Grammy award winning American singer and country music performer, and actress.[1] Sometimes referred to as "The Queen of Country Music",[2][3] , classic rock group Heart and alternative rock band The All-American Rejects with singer Alana Grace will be among the headliners for the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. "I think it's a great lineup. I'm really happy with it," fair manager Dan Jacobs said. "It's a pretty diverse lineup this year."

Fair admission will be $8 for visitors ages 12 to 61, $5 for children ages 6 to 11, and $5 for seniors 62 and over. Active-duty military with military identification will be admitted free, as well as children under 6.

The fair's theme this year is "Wild Flowers and Wild Fun."

Concert tickets will go on sale June 2 at the fairgrounds ticket office, via Ticketmaster, online at www.avfair.com or by telephone at (661) 948-6060, Ext. 230. All concert tickets include admission to the fair.

Grandstand seating is free at all concerts except McEntire's, where there will be a charge of $30. McEntire will perform Aug. 25, and ticket prices will be $85, $65 and $30.

Lone Star with the Charlie Daniels Band will perform Aug. 27. Seats will cost $65 and $30.

Heart will perform Aug. 28. Tickets will run $65 and $35.

The All-American Rejects with Alana Grace will take the stage Aug. 29. Tickets are $65 and $30.

Fair officials said two more acts are currently under negotiation and will be announced for the fair's opening night Aug. 24 and the Aug. 26 concert, which features Latino entertainment.

Aug. 26 is Pay One Price admission of $15 that includes carnival rides and concert seats.

Tickets to the Figure 8 race, professional bull-riders show, demolition derby and pre-sale $5 admission tickets and pre-sale $15 carnival ride wristbands will also be sold at the ticket office starting June 2.
