MBDA.


MBDA has received a 250 million [euro] contract from the French defence procurement agency DGA for the development and production of 250 Scalp Naval missiles, which will equip the new French Fremm frigates (200 missiles) and Barracuda submarines (remaining 50). The contract, awarded in December 2006, comprises four tranches, with the first effective as of the first week of January and covering the delivery of 50 missiles for the Fremm frigates in 2013.
