MBDA. (News).

MBDA has completed its Saam/IT qualification. The Aster 15 missile of this Italian version of the Saam air defence system had its last firing on 17 December 2002 at the French test centre near Toulon. It took place from the Marina Militare's test ship Carabiniere and involved intercepting a C22 target drone flying in tandem with another C22. The two aerial targets, equipped with self-defence countermeasure systems, simulated low level subsonic flight.
