MBC Network changes name to Black Family Channel.


The Major Broadcasting Cable Network, the only African American African American Multiculture A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa. See Race.  owned and operated cable television network, is repositioning itself in the marketplace by changing its name to the Black Family Channel. It aims to produce family programming, as it had primarily focused on college sports, news, and public affairs Those public information, command information, and community relations activities directed toward both the external and internal publics with interest in the Department of Defense. Marlon David Jackson (born March 12, 1957) is an American singer, former member of The Jackson 5, and older brother of American pop stars Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson.
 (of Jackson 5 fame), broadcast veteran Alvin James, and sports figures Cecil Fielder and Evander Holyfield. Launched in 1999, MBC is available in 30 million homes, 3,700 cities, and 47 states.
