MB&WWA elects officers at meeting.

Members of the Michigan Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association recently elected a new slate of officers at their annual meeting held at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, MI.

Chosen as officers were William Muehlenbeck, chairman; Robert Smith, vice chairman; and Gerald Powers, treasurer.

Muehlenbeck has served as president of Muehlenbeck Distributing Co. in Saginaw, since 1977. He has already completed two-year terms as treasurer and vice chairman of the association and a member of the association's board of director for seven years.

Vice chairman Smith has been president of Earl Smith Distributing in Port Huron since 1987. He is also a member of the association's board of directors and the MB&WWA Workers Compensation Fund board of trustees.

Powers is co-owner and co-president of Powers Distributing Co. in Sylvan Lake. He, too, is a member of the board of directors and the Workers Comp. Fund.
