MAZDA INCREASES PRICES OF SOME 1993 MODELS

 IRVINE, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda Motor of America today announced that it has increased suggested retail base prices of all its 1993 models, except the MX-5 Miata, 626 DX and pickup trucks, an average of $227, or 1.4 percent, on a sales-weighted basis.
 The price increases apply to vehicles shipped to Mazda dealers on or after April 1. Prices on vehicles in existing dealer stocks are not affected. Some option prices also have been increased on the MX-5 Miata and RX-7 sports cars. Transportation costs on all vehicles, except Navajo, have been increased by $25.
