MAYOR WILL JOIN INTERFAITH GROUP'S KING CELEBRATION.

VALENCIA - The Santa Clarita Interfaith Council will observe the birthday of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. at a 7 p.m. celebration Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ Church of Jesus Christ may refer to:

  • Church of Jesus Christ–Christian, a white-supremacist church founded by Ku Klux Klan organizer Wesley A.
 of Latter-day Saints, 24443 W. McBean Parkway, Valencia.

The theme of the interfaith celebration will be ``Character Counts.'' Santa Clarita Mayor Cameron Smyth will join clergy and members of congregations represented on the SCV SCV Santa Clarita Valley (California)
SCV Sons of Confederate Veterans
SCV Santa Clara Vanguard
SCV Singapore Cable Vision
SCV Special Category Visa (Australia)
SCV StarHub Cable Vision
 Interfaith Council.

Also featured will be music and prayers by local Interfaith participants.

Members of the council are the Bahai's of Santa Clarita, The Church of Hope, Congregation Beth Shalom, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Friendly Valley United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism). , Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church General
Our Lady’s church was designed by a Catholic Priest Fr Benedict Williamson. It is a masterpiece of light and space. Its soaring classical columns and Romanesque arches give it a height and grandeur that make it look deceptively large.
