SIMI VALLEY - The Simi Valley Community Foundation Mayor's Charity Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Coordinates:

The fundraiser will honor former Mayor Greg Stratton, now on the board of the Simi Valley Unified School District A unified school district is a school district which includes both primary school (kindergarten through middle school or junior high) and high school (grades 9-12).  Sunrise Rotary's Celebration of American Art Exhibition and Sale, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

The exhibition and sale will feature more than 40 renowned artists' originals, lithographs and cels. Abstracts, land- and seascapes Seascapes is an RTÉ Radio 1 programme broadcast on Fridays at 8.30 pm. and presented by Tom MacSweeney. It is intended to cover all subjects of maritime interest, from leisure to commercial shipping, as well as fishing and the environment. , Disney fine art, Southwest and themed art (aviation, automobiles and golf) will be available for sale.

Live art demonstrations, as well as appearances by artists Susan Rios, Violet Parkhurst, Dennis Lewan and Disney artist Harrison Ellenshaw, are part of the event.

Tickets for that event are $25 each and can be purchased at the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, 40 W. Cochran Ave.; Supercuts, 2345 Erringer Road and 2691 Tapo Canyon Road; Michael's Flowers, 1951 Sequoia St., and Holmes Art Center, 2389 Tapo St.

Tickets for the Mayor's Charity Dinner are $75 and can be purchased at the chamber.

Affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce, the Simi Valley Community Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization created to strengthen educational, cultural and health programs in the city.
