MAXIMUS Wins $2.4 Million in Delaware Rebids.

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 2003

MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS) announces the recent signing of two Workforce Services contracts in Delaware totaling more than $2.4 million. These competitively-awarded contracts were signed with the State of Delaware, Department of Labor for our Employment Connection (EC) Project and with the Department of Health and Social Services for the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) Project.

MAXIMUS originally contracted with Delaware for the EC Project in 1998 and the ABAWD Project in 1999. During this six-year period, the project's customer referral base increased steadily, resulting in expanded programs.

For both of these projects, MAXIMUS provides services including intake and assessment, life skills and job readiness workshops, case management, enhanced outreach, job search, job development, job placement, and 30-day and 90-day job retention reviews. MAXIMUS also provides additional services for the EC Project that include offering individual service strategy, organizing job fairs, and enrolling qualified individuals into the Keep-A-Job program.
