SSI offers Advanced Technical Support (ATS) services for networks. ATS provides complete support for Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390. Notes provides e-mail, document sharing, workflow, group discussions and calendaring and scheduling. , Novell NetWare (operating system, networking) Novell NetWare - Novell, Inc.'s proprietary networking operating system for the IBM PC.

NetWare uses the IPX/SPX, NetBEUI or TCP/IP network protocols. It supports MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows, OS/2, Macintosh and Unix clients.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Recently, MATRIXX expanded three facilities and added one new center to support the growth of its clients. Since January, this growth has created more than 2,300 new jobs nationally. The company now employs more than 13,300 worldwide in 18 call centers located throughout the United States and Europe. MATRIXX's revenues for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 1996, were $320 million.
