UV/EB curable resins

Ricacryl 3803 and 3820 resins have been developed specifically to overcome limitations of adhesion of UV/EB resins to difficult substrates. Both of these products have all the flexibility, hardness and fluid resistant character inherent in the Ricacryl 3800 line of UV/EB curable resins. The company developed Ricacryl 3803 specifically to adhere to all common types of steel, including tin-plated and galvanized. Castable urethanes

Flexane castable liquid urethane compounds cure to form both flexible and rigid rubber parts for a variety of OEM applications. These room temperature curing, non-shrinking urethanes will not change shape while curing and can be used to make precision molds that faithfully reproduce fine detail, according to the company. They are also said to provide a convenient way to pour and mold cast rubber replacement parts that have been discontinued. Flexane 80 Liquid is a two-component, medium-viscosity (10,000 cps) urethane compound that cures to a semirigid (hardness Shore A 87) rubber material that will return to its original shape after 650% elongation. High strength silicones

This compounder and mixer of high performance silicone and fluorosilicone compounds has developed a line of fast cure, high strength silicone compounds featuring very high tear strength and high modulus. EX991 and EX986 fully catalyzed compounds are platinum or peroxide curable. They are offered in 55 and 70 durometer, but may be blended to customer specifications. EPDM processing aid

MoldWiz INT-1117EL is a processing aid additive designed to improve processing and release of many of the new EPDM elastomers, materials which are being embraced for their physical properties and wider processing parameters, according to the manufacturer. INT-1117EL has undergone extensive and successful evaluation in EPDM/PP type compounds, including metallocene catalyzed and silica filled elastomers. Semi-permanent release

RR-1852 WB has been added to the company's line of custom formulated, semi-permanent release agents. A water-based resin emulsion, RR1852 WB is said to give excellent longevity and releaseability for a wide range of elastomers. Coupling agent

Coupling agent SCA 985 is a bi-functional disulfide organosilane for the rubber industry. SCA 985 is used to improve the reinforcing capability of fillers with silanol groups on their surface (e.g., silicas, silicates, clays, etc.). SCA 985 is said to offer improved scorch safety during mixing due to its disulfide composition. Sulfur content (%) ranges from 12.5 to 14.5. Anti-stick coatings

A neutral cure sealant has been developed for bonding and sealing sensitive components and other applications where the released solvents or cure by-products of many room-temperature sealants are undesirable. The RTV silicone material produces no acid byproducts during cure. Rubber lubricants

Water-based rubber lubricants are said to provide a durable dry colorless film coating that will adhere tenaciously to a surface. Specialty antioxidants 

Stangard specialty antioxidants are designed to help protect polymers and custom compounds from atmospheric oxidation, and are available for a variety of end-product applications. Stangard 1010 is an additive with broad FDA clearance, designed for polypropylene and any other application that demands low AO volatility.
