Carroll was fourth in the 100 (11.98), fifth in the 200 (24.57) and third in the long jump (18-7 1/2) to advance to the state meet in three individual events for the second straight year. Carroll also ran the first leg on the Spartans' 400 relay tea,, which was third in a season-best 47.73. Junior Sierra Hauser-Price of Notre Drame posted runner-up efforts of 11.88 in the 100 and 24.16 in the 200 to advance in both events for the third straight year.
