MAST Construction Services has been tapped to serve as the Club's Owner's Representative in erecting the new three-level clubhouse designed by North Palm Beach, Florida-based Peacock peacock or peafowl, large bird of the genus Pavo, in the pheasant family, native to E Asia. There are two main species, the common (Pavo cristatus), and the Javanese (P.  and Lewis Architects and constructed by Weitz Golf International, also of North Palm Beach.

. The new clubhouse, to replace the old one, is designed as a traditional northeastern stone-clad early 20th century manor home, so as to be architecturally consistent with many of the homes in the surrounding Bergen County area.

The clubhouse will feature two state-of-the-art kitchens to support the club's formal and casual dining operations with room for over three hundred members and guests. The expansive men's and women's locker Things commonly known as lockers include:

"With our long-term vision for the Club, our members all look forward to enjoying a traditionally styled Clubhouse with modern amenities that will enhance the community and truly complement our golf course" said Robert Hershan, President of the Club.

Construction, which began late last year, is expected to be completed by May 2007.

Alpine is one of A.W. Tillinghast's originally designed courses. Recognized as one of the world's foremost golf course architects, many of Tillinghast's design principles were based on famous courses in Scotland such as St. Andrew's. Aldecress Country Club, Alpine's original name, was, according to Tillinghast, "the toughest course to build" that he ever encountered of the hundreds of golf courses that he designed and constructed.
