MARY B. LEHMAN JOINS BANKERS TRUST AS HEAD OF DOMESTIC PRIVATE BANKING
 NEW YORK, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Mary B. Lehman has joined Bankers Trust Company as senior vice president and head of Domestic Private Banking, it was announced today. In this position, Lehman is responsible for providing worldwide asset management and other banking and trust services to American entrepreneurs, corporate executives, professionals and individuals with family wealth.
 "Mary's appointment underscores Bankers Trust's commitment to achieving leadership in private banking," said Neal F. Finnegan, executive vice president and head of Private Banking. "She has an outstanding track record in developing strong relationships in the U.S. market, and we look forward to her making a significant contribution at Bankers Trust."
 Commenting on her decision to join the bank, Lehman said, "Bankers Trust has, over the last ten years, done a terrific job helping major corporations and institutions expand and increase their profitability.  The Private Bank provides a full range of financial services worldwide to its clients, with an emphasis on asset management. The Private Bank currently administers more than $23 billion in assets.
 Lehman was formerly senior vice president and head of the Business Development and Financial Planning Division at U.S. Trust Company, where she was responsible for creating successful new business programs. Previously, she practiced law at two major New York firms, Willkie, Farr & Gallagher and Kelley, Drye & Warren.
 Lehman received a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law.
 Lehman is a member of the board of overseers of the Veterinary School of the University of Pennsylvania, a board member of the Volunteer Referral Center and a member of the President's Council of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a also a director of the Irvington Institute for Medical Research and the Automobile Club of New York.
 Lehman and her husband reside in Manhattan.
