Annual MLK Day March, sponsored by Eugene-Springfield chapter of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, begins at the Serbu Juvenile Justice Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Eugene, 9 a.m. March proceeds to EWEB headquarters. Bring a sign. 431-1119.
Martin Luther King Jr. Contest and Celebration, Springfield Middle School, 1084 G St., 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Keynote speech by Lyllye Parker of UO Office of Multicultural Affairs. Emcees are Springfield schools Superintendent Nancy Golden and Eugene schools Superintendent George Russell. Music by high school students Josh and James Harmon, Eugene Peace Choir, UO Gospel Choir.
