Zinpro Animal Nutrition, the international sales and marketing organization of Zinpro Corp., Eden Prairie, Minn., promotes Max Winders to the newly created position of marketing manager. Winders was previously area manager, Oceania.

Seminis, Inc., Oxnard, Calif., names Eugenio Najera president and COO. Najera was previously CEO and president of Cigarerra La Moderna, a former subsidiary of Seminis parent company Savia. In a related announcement, Savia named Najera executive vice president of its agrotechnology division. Seminis promotes Henk van Wielink to senior vice president and general manager and Oscar Velasco to senior vice president of marketing and strategic planning. Van Wielink has worked with Seminis and its predecessor companies in sales, production, operations, logistics and general management since 1972. Velasco has worked at Seminis or other Savia subsidiaries since 1992.

VetLife, West Des Moines, Iowa, hires Todd Cappel as manager of Internet services and Vickie Barby as regional sales manager for eastern and central Kansas. Previously, Cappel was director of beef development for E-Markets in Ames, Iowa. Barby formerly was a sales representative with Merck AgVet / Merial.

TORO Agricultural Irrigation, El Cajon, Calif., names Jan Carlo Di Paola managing director for the company. Di Paola was previously general sales and operations manager of the European, Middle Eastern and African divisions of TORO Ag.

Kemin Industries, Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, hires Esmond W. Joseph as manager of product development in the R&D division, Greg Aldrich as director of R&D and Tommy Moore as regional sales manager in the poultry division. Previously, Joseph was senior manager of product development with Pizza Hut-Tricon. Aldrich was a research nutritionist and manager of new technology with the Iams Co. Moore was a senior sales representative with Hoffman-La Roche. Kemin promotes Jeff Murphy to marketing manager, North American agricultural products division, from regional sales manager, Michael (Mick) J. Ruffini to vice president of Kemin's North American agricultural products division from divisional director and G. L. (Lew) Lewis, Jr. to business director of Kemin's poultry and swine divisions from regional sales manager in the poultry division.
