The purse-snatching was committed by a pistol-wielding man who approached a woman leaving the Wal-Mart store on 47th Street East and grabbed her purse.

An employee called 911 as the robbery was occurring, but, by the time deputies arrived, the robber had fled east on Avenue S in a dark-blue, four-door sedan Sedan (sədäN`), town (1990 pop. 22,407), Ardennes dept., NE France, on the Meuse River. The robber was described as an African-American about 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing black pants and a brown shirt.

The Pyramid Market was robbed by two men, one armed with a handgun, who entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied, and the two men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The market robbers were African-American men ages 18 to 20. The gunman was 6 feet tall, weighed about 200 pounds and was wearing a blue, hooded hood·ed
