MAPICS Receives Three Awards for Continued Success in China; E-Commerce Magazine and ERP-World Recognize MAPICS With Awards During Ceremony in the People's Congress Hall.


ATLANTA -- MAPICS (Manufacturing Accounting and Production Information Control System) A comprehensive and widely used ERP system from MAPICS, Inc., Alpharetta, GA (www.mapics. , Inc. (Nasdaq:MAPX), a leading global provider of enterprise solutions for world-class manufacturers, announced it was recently presented with three awards including being named to "The Top 10 Hottest Application Vendors" along with two other industry awards.

E-Commerce and ERP-World conducted four months of research and reviewed more than 1,000 application products and vendors to determine the top 100 candidates, with special recognition to the top 10. The categories included business applications, system management software, security management software, and storage management software. MAPICS was recognized for its leadership in the business applications category.

In addition to the top 10 award, MAPICS received an award for "The Best Application and Service in the Manufacturing Industry," as well as a special "Technology Leader" award for MAPICS Flagship solution, MAPICS SyteLine ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise.
