MANAGER TAKING CONTROLS AT AIR PARK FACILITY FACES COMPLAINTS FROM NEIGHBORS.

 - Mary Johnson is the new airport manager of the Agua Dulce Air Park, stepping into the middle of an ongoing tussle with neighbors over the operation and vowing to work with the community to solve disputes.

Johnson, an Agua Dulce resident for 2 1/2 years, said Wednesday that she is committed to opening up a dialogue with residents, who have myriad complaints, ranging from seeing pilots perform aerial acrobatic stunts to nighttime location filming at the rural airport.

 hangars, officials said. Permits had been granted for the construction of 17-foot-high structures, and residents complained when they saw hangars that measured 29 feet going in.

That construction has stopped, Johnson said.

``Right now we're in a holding position. We're waiting and not going to do anything until the county reviews things,'' she said. ``We made a few mistakes, but we are getting back on track. We're getting things in order.''
