Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. has promoted Jonathan S. Meisel to the position of senior director in the firm's East Rutherford office. A resident of Livingston, N.J., Meisel joined the company in 1988 and today serves as an office leasing broker specializing in the real estate needs of the telecommunications industry.

Meisel, who has twice been named among Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.'s Top 100 brokers for annual production nationwide, completed in excess of 70 transactions totaling more than 1.5 million square feet in 2000. Among them, he represented developer Young Woo and Associates in the purchase of-the former Nobody Beats The Wiz distribution facility in Carteret, N.J., and helped to strategize the building's repositioning for telecom use.

James M. McMillan joined Eastern Consolidated Properties, Inc. as an associate in the investment advisory group, announced president Daun Paris.

As a tenant representative, he has worked with such firms as National Data Corporation, Pharmacia, and Graybar Electric.
