In her new position, Anderson will develop a cohesive marketing strategy to build ADI's customer base.

At REBNY, Anderson was responsible for industry relations with some of the City's top residential and commercial real estate brokerage firms and assisting brokers in establishing standards of conduct and business practices for the real estate community.

Steven Granat (photo) has signed on as vice president of Sales and Marketing for ADI.

Thomas Garland (photo) has been appointed regional vice president and director of Retail Services at NAI See Network Associates. . He will be responsible for brokerage services for the southeastern region of the U.S.

"I'll be overseeing all aspects of NAI's operations in the southeastern U.S., which includes ten states and 30 full-service commercial real estate brokerage offices," Garland explains. "I'll provide daily leadership, motivation and management for approximately 500 commercial real estate professionals. That includes new business development, sales, sales management and general development of revenue. A market this size is a real challenge - an exciting one."

"Mr. Garland's background is mainly in retail, but his general knowledge of the real estate industry is remarkably broad," reports Jeffrey M. Finn, president and COO of NAI. "He's been associated with NAI for nearly a decade, first as a broker with NAI Brannen Goddard in Atlanta, and more recently as a regional director, so he knows our system through and through. He'll handle delivery of services, recruiting new clients and evaluation of NAI member offices, as well as keeping ahead of the curve on the latest technological developments."

Garland served as regional director, operating out of Atlanta, from 1979 to 1999; his tenure at NAI Brannen Goddard lasted from 1992 to 1997. He entered the real estate industry in 1986 as a brokerage representative for The David Kornblatt Company.

Perkins & Will has promoted Kristin Barclay (photo) from associate principal for the international architectural firm's New York practice, according to Carl W. Barclay began her career with the Essex County Planning Office in Elizabethtown, NY, where she prepared the first land-use plans and zoning ordinances for the county's section of the Adirondack Park.

After several years with the Washington, DC engineering firm of De Leuw Cather & Company, developing preservation plans for historic sections of the Northeast rail corridor, Barclay joined HLW in New York.

Barclay earned masters degrees in landscape architecture and regional planning at Cornell University after obtaining her undergraduate degree at Smith College. She resides with her family in Darien, CT.

Insignia Residential Group has appointed Nancy Porcaro (photo) to the position of account executive. In this capacity, Porcaro will serve as the property manager for several luxury cooperative and condominium properties on Manhattan's Upper East Side. James V. O'Connor, senior vice president and executive managing director of Insignia Residential Group, made the announcement.

W. Barton Wood III (photo) has been named managing director for New Jersey operations at Interior Move Consultants, Inc. (IMC (Internet Mail Consortium, Santa Cruz, CA, www.imc.org) An industry trade association founded in 1996 by Paul Hoffman and Dave Crocker that promotes Internet e-mail standards and features. ), in Manhattan.

In this newly created position, Wood will be responsible for introducing IMC to New Jersey corporations and will spearhead its marketing, business development, sales, technological development and recruiting activities. The company handles office relocations and project management for corporations in NYC and Long Island.

Prior to joining IMC, Wood served as president of The W.B. Wood Company in New Providence, NJ - a family-owned business he first joined in 1964 and which he retired from in 1999.

"I am eager to begin this new phase of my professional life with IMC," Wood said, "and I'm confident that my experience in the office furniture industry and with New Jersey's business community will provide me with a solid foundation for this new position. Grubb & Ellis is pleased to announce the promotion of Richard D. Marchisio (photo) to senior vice president and managing director for the company's New Jersey offices. Marchisio joined the company in 1996 and previously served as the Industrial Services director.
