New York-based Helpern Architects has named Margaret Castillo and Susanne Mackiw as principals.

Margaret Castillo joined Helpern Architects in 1996. Named a senior associate in 1999, she currently serves as project architect for Carnegie Hall, Marble Collegiate Church Marble Collegiate Church is a church of the Reformed Church in America located at Fifth Avenue and Twenty-Ninth Street in New York City. The Roosevelt Hotel has named Lillian R. Kreppel senior business travel manager.

Kreppel, a hotel industry veteran who has more than 10 years' experience, will be responsible for managing The Roosevelt's corporate transient market, a significant portion of the hotel's annual revenues. As senior business travel sales manager, Kreppel will create corporate meetings and incentive packages to increase sales traffic, develop corporate contracts and perform rate negotiations, meet with travel agents and meeting planners, and oversee a business travel staff.

Linde, 37, currently senior vice president for financial and capital markets, has been appointed chief financial officer, succeeding David G. Gaw, who will work with him on transition matters during the next month. David G. Gaw will leave the company effective Oct. 31.

In addition, Boston Properties announced that Terence D. McNally, 42, vice president and controller, who has been with the company for 16 years, has been named chief accounting officer.

Gerard Marinaccio has been promoted to senior project manager at Ambassador Construction. Ambassador president Jay Koven made the announcement.

Marinaccio has been an important member of the Ambassador team for more than 20 years. In recognition of his field leadership and project management ability, Marinaccio has been elevated to this position of higher visibility and increased responsibilities. As senior project manager, he will oversee all aspects of the construction process from start to finish and provide hands-on direction.

Marinaccio recently supervised several major interior construction and renovation projects in Midtown Manhattan, including Mass Mutual's 65,000 SF office renovation at 530 Fifth Ave.; Putney Twombley's new 18,000 SF law offices at 521 Fifth Ave.; and the new Lenscrafters store at 530 Fifth Ave.

Marinaccio has attended Parsons School of Design and is a member of the International Facility Management Association.

Michael Allen Seeve, president of Mountain Development Corp. announced that John Raggio has joined the firm and will head the company's financial services division.

Raggio will be responsible for Mountain Development Corporation's financial and transactional projects, will arrange debt and equity for current and future ventures.

Formerly affiliated with Tremont Realty Capital as managing director in charge of its mortgage origination efforts in New York, Raggio brings with him more than 18 years of experience in the real estate investment and finance field. During this period, he was directly involved in the acquisition, financing, and disposition of more than $6 billion of real estate assets.

Prior to his stint with Tremont Capital, Raggio was vice president of GE Capital Real Estate's institutional account, where he was responsible for overseeing GE's structured finance/equity investments with institutional investors.
