Posner Advertising has appointed Cara Faske (photo) director of real estate, announced Peter Posner, president of the agency.

In her new position, Ms. Faske, 37, is responsible for new business development and account supervision for a number of agency real estate clients, The Emmes Group of Companies, Realty IQ, S.L. Green Realty Corp., Silverstein Properties, Inc., and the RAK Group.

"Cara's creativity and professionalism are well-known and appreciated by the real estate community, " says Bob Posner, principal in charge of the agency's real estate division. "She's a welcome addition to our team."

Before joining Posner Advertising, Ms. Faske's more than 12 years of experience in real estate advertising included serving as senior vice president of both Sherman Advertising Associates and Chavin Lambert Advertising.

(photo) formerly vice president, has been promoted to the position of senior vice president and regional managing director of The Advance Group, a commercial real estate, development and investment company headquartered in New Jersey, with a regional office in Lanham, Md. Mr. Fisher joined The Advance Group in 1998 and is responsible for managing all acquisitions, development, leasing and marketing activities in the suburban Washington, D.C. marketplace.

Ms. Barclay began her career with the Essex County Planning Office in Elizabethtown, N.Y., where she prepared the first land-use plans and zoning ordinances for the county's section of the Adirondack Park. She also served as a member of the Winter Olympics Planning Task Force.

After several years with the Washington, D.C. engineering firm of De Leuw, Cather & Company, developing preservation plans for historic sections of the Northeast rail corridor, Ms. Barclay joined HLW in New York. Ms. Barclay earned masters degrees in landscape architecture and regional planning at Cornell University after obtaining her undergraduate degree at Smith College. She resides with her family in Darien, Conn.

Ted Weiss, president of T. Weiss Realty Corp. recently announced the promotion of General. Manager Marci E. Glaser (photo) to the position of Vice President of Operations. The Commack, N.Y. resident will oversee daily operations of the Melville-based real estate development and management company, including supervision of office and maintenance staff, leasing and tenant relations, properties and finances.

Glaser is active in community theater, providing technical assistance to productions at the Suffolk Y Theatre Group. Ms. Madsen holds degrees from Harvard University and the Columbia University School of Law. She joined Breed Abbott & Morgan in 1989 as an associate. David Kuperberg, president of Cooper Square Realty, Inc., has named one of its most honored senior property managers, Alexander "Sandy" Wolf III, (photo) to the position of Vice President of the firm.

"In his 25 years in the residential property management field, Sandy Wolf has exhibited one of the most keenly attentive personalities in our business. Along with his meticulous eye for detail, he has superb communication skills, exhibiting always an acute sensitivity to residents' needs," said Kuperberg.

Wolf has won the top award for general effectiveness from Habitat Magazine as well, as several of its prestigious Management Achievement Awards. During his career, he has led property management operations at major firms where he established control systems to monitor staff operations. For example, he spent 22 years at Alexander Wolf & Company and served in several senior management positions at two other large firms before joining Cooper Square.
