Successful investment sales specialist John Goldman (photo) has been named executive vice president, director of Investment Sales, by Goodstein Realty Commercial, announced Alan M. Simon, president of the firm.

In the new position, Goldman will continue to arrange the sale and development of investment properties throughout Manhattan and to provide investment and development opportunities to The Goodstein Organization and other clients.

Most recently, John served as director of Investment Sales for Brown Harris Stevens, where he handled the sale of Manhattan properties to local users and investors.

He previously worked at William B. May specializing in investment properties, and practiced real estate law for 25 years. Goldman has syndicated, owned and managed nearly 20 Manhattan residential properties. He has personally developed residential and commercial property costing $30 million to $35 mil lion in Tribeca, Noho, Clinton and the East Village, where he was an early investor.

"Goodstein Realty Commercial is a dynamic new venture," says Goldman of the one-year old division of The Goodstein Organization. "I look forward to pitching in to help it build on its already impressive initial successes."

Insignia/ESG, Inc. has announced Aileen Green (photo) has been promoted to director. Green joined Insignia/ESG in 1997 as an associate director. She is a licensed real estate broker with more than 10 years of real estate experience and over 20 years of negotiating experience with large, corporate contracts. Green has represented landlords, tenants, sellers and purchasers in complex transactions and has strong ties with municipal, economic and industrial development agencies.

In the past year, she has completed six transactions for Premier Storage Solutions, a self storage developer, three transactions with Guitar Center, a retail music company, and is working on numerous new and redevelopment projects in Long Island and Queens.

Prior to joining Insignia/ESG, Green was vice president of Schacker Real Estate Corp., where she negotiated the sales and leasing of industrial, commercial and retail properties. Previous to her tenure in the real estate industry, Green was involved in the travel industry in an executive sales position, selling and negotiating large travel contracts.

Andy Frankl, president and COO of Ibex Construction, a New York-based firm dedicated to retail and corporate interior construction, announces the promotion of Vikram Reddi (photo) to director of Business Development. In his new role, Reddi will focus on business expansion anti overall development of the company. Having joined Ibex as project manager several months ago, Reddi will now oversee the company's rapidly growing operations as they relate to business development.

"Vik has been an integral part of our rapid growth thus far, and in this new capacity he will aid in the strategic planning and development of our operations, both in New York and throughout the United States," said Frankl.

Reddi, 40, has more than 19 years of experience in the construction industry. Before joining Ibex Construction, he held a position as project manager, where he built a 10,000 square-foot, $2.3 million fit-out project for the well-known cosmetics store, Sephora. Prior to that, he was employed as a project manager, building several Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy stores.

Reddi is currently overseeing the construction of Wolf Camera's flagship store on East 86th Street. In addition, Ibex recently won a contract with Macy's to re-model an existing department store at the Queens Center Mall in Queens, NY, and will build a new Macy's furniture warehouse, also in Queens.
