A Ventura County man died Sunday after his commercial pickup truck struck another vehicle, slammed into a metal power pole power pole

The dead man's identity was not released pending notification of relatives. Officials said he lived in Moorpark and was 46 years old.

The crash occurred at 2:35 p.m.

The driver of the other car, Mario Cortez, 41, said he lived nearby and was not injured in·jure
