MAN JAILED; WEAPONS FOUND IN CAR.

PALMDALE - A Palmdale man was arrested after an informant informant Historian Medtalk A person who provides a medical history  tipped off the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms that he had assault weapons, authorities said.

, possession of weapons on school grounds and child endangerment. Following up information from the informant, authorities obtained a search warrant and watched Ely as he drove from his home to his sons' school. After Ely left the school, he was stopped a short distance away.

Ely was being held at the Lancaster sheriff's station jail with bail set at $250,000.
