MAN DIES AT LEGION HALL.

NEWHALL - Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the death of an elderly man who likely suffered a heart attack after a brief shoving match at the American Legion American Legion, national association of male and female war veterans, founded (1919) in Paris. Membership is open to veterans of World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.  Hall, authorities said Saturday.

Cooke collapsed about five minutes later.
