MAN CHARGED IN NORTH HILLS FATAL STABBING.

A 22-year-old man was charged with one count of murder Tuesday in the fatal stabbing of a North Hills teen-ager over the weekend, authorities said.

William Joe Shannon Joseph Bernard Shannon (March 17, 1867 - March 28, 1943) was a Democratic political boss in Kansas City, Missouri that was a rival to the more dominate Pendergast political machine in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Shannon was born in St.
 Jr. of Northridge turned himself into police and was arrested after Jason Henderson, 19, was stabbed to death outside an apartment complex in the 15100 block of Parthenia Street in North Hills at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The stabbing occurred outdoors during a party at the apartment building and police believe the motive was gang-related, said Detective Marshall White of the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Police Department's Devonshire Division.

``Both (of them) began to exchange words and gang-affiliations and then the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest,'' White said.

Henderson died at the scene, police said.

One count of murder was filed against Shannon at San Fernando San Fernando, city, Argentina
