MAN ARRESTED IN FAILED CARJACKINGS.

PEARBLOSSOM -- Sheriff's deputies arrested a Pearblossom man Thursday on suspicion of carrying a gun that discharged outside a Wal-Mart, attempting two carjackings and trying to rob patrons at two eateries.

 carjacking attempt. The deputy said Flores also fired shots at a woman at the entrance of a Jack in the Box in another failed carjacking. Next, Jennings said, Flores went to a Denny's restaurant, took money off tables and was arrested.

There were no reports of injuries, but deputies said they are concerned about a man who was at pump No. 5 in a red Ford Focus at the gas station. They asked anyone with information to call the Palmdale station at (661) 272-2400.
