MAKE IT A NIGHT OF HOLIDAY MUSIC ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 1, AT FIRST FIDELITY'S MAIN BANKING OFFICE

 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Customers and shoppers are invited to "Make It A Night" before Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 1, as First Fidelity Bank and the Choral Arts Society host an evening of song and holiday cheer.
 "Carols on the Avenue" will be a preview of upcoming holiday concerts by the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia. As part of the Center City District's "Make It A Night" promotion, First Fidelity's main banking office at Broad and Walnut streets along the Avenue of the Arts will be the site of this special evening. The magnificent lobby of this historic building will be filled with holiday decorations, refreshments and the glorious sounds of music.
 The evening of entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m. with a medley of holiday songs performed by pianist Mark Randall. From 6:30 to 8 p.m., the Choral Arts Society, 160 members strong, will conduct an open rehearsal, singing selections from the "Messiah" and other traditional carols.
 The Choral Arts Society will be performing throughout the area during the holiday season. On Sunday and Monday, Dec. 5 and 6, they will be performing Handel's "Messiah" with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Academy of Music. "A Festival of Carols" featuring Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" and other holiday music will be performed on Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Road, and Sunday, Dec. 12, at the First Presbyterian Church, 21st and Walnut streets in Philadelphia.
