MAJOR CONSULTING ALLIANCE ANNOUNCED;SRI, ACSA JOIN TO SERVE MEXICAN INDUSTRY

& MENLO PARK, Calif., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- SRI International announced the following today:
 Analisis Corporativo, S.A. de C.V. (ACSA), a leading consulting service based in Mexico City, today formed an alliance with SRI International (SRI), one of the world's leading consulting and research organizations. "Our purpose," said Dr. James Tietjen, president and chief executive officer of SRI, "is to provide Mexican-based industries with a unique combination of consulting expertise that has both a global and a local perspective." Initially, the alliance will focus on serving the automotive, manufacturing and transportation industries.
 "Business today is a global activity," said Miguel Olea of ACSA, "one that requires a blending of business, financial, technical and scientific skills. ACSA, working with SRI, can bring those skills to our clients." Olea went on to say that the scope of the alliance would soon expand to serve the energy, petrochemical, agriculture and food industries. It will also provide broad-based consulting in the areas of information technology and the environment, as well as strengthen SRI's already strong role in technical and economic regional planning with various government agencies and institutions in Mexico. This alliance brings together two accomplished companies with an extensive record of services to companies in Mexico and throughout the world.
