MAI Signs Agreement to Market MCI Data Products.


IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 1996--MAI Systems Corp. (ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) A relational DBMS from Sybase that runs on Windows NT/2000, Linux and a variety of Unix platforms. ASE is a comprehensive and robust data management product with a long history dating back to the late 1980s. :NOW) Tuesday announced that it had entered into an agreement with MCI (1) (Media Control Interface) A high-level programming interface from Microsoft and IBM for controlling multimedia devices. It provides commands and functions to open, play and close the device.
