M.U.A. Usmani appointed as the Acting President of MCB Bank.

KARACHI , June 10, 2010 (Frontier Star): Atif Aslam Atif Aslam (Urdu: عاطف اسلم) is a Pakistani pop singer. He was born in Gujranwala and educated in Lahore and Rawalpindi.

Attributed with the hits 'Aadat', 'Woh Lamhey', Doorie and Tere Bin. Formerly lead singer of Jal.
 Bajwa, President and Chief Executive Officer of MCB (Memory Control Block) An identifier (16 bytes) that DOS places in front of each block of memory it allocates.  Bank, completes his term as on June 11, 2010. Owing to some personal reasons he did not seek renewal of his contract. He informed the Board of Directors about his decision on June 1, 2010. The Board has reluctantly accepted his request and in doing so recorded its appreciation for the contribution made by Mr. Bajwa during his term as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. M.U.A. Usmani, Group Head Treasury and Foreign Exchange Operations of MCB Bank has appointed by the MCB Board as Acting President effective from June 12, 2010. His appointment has been made till such time the Board selects a suitable candidate for appointment as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, with due approval of the State Bank of Pakistan The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is the central bank of Pakistan. While its constitution, as originally laid down in the State Bank of Pakistan Order 1948, remained basically unchanged until January 1, 1974, when the bank was nationalised, the scope of its functions was . It may be noted that Usmani has had a long association with MCB Bank and has vast experience in commercial banking.
