M. Lee Smith rolls out Dispute Resolution Alert.

David Carew of M. Lee Smith Publishers observed, "Today, more and more companies and individuals are recognizing the benifits of resolving disuptes outside the legal system, through arbitration and mediation mediation, in law, type of intervention in which the disputing parties accept the offer of a third party to recommend a solution for their controversy. Mediation has long been a part of international law, frequently involving the use of an international commission,  services known as Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures for settling disputes by means other than litigation; e.g., by Arbitration, mediation, or minitrials. Such procedures, which are usually less costly and more expeditious than litigation, are increasingly being used in commercial and labor disputes, Divorce . By using ADR ADR - Astra Digital Radio , they can save time, effort, aggravation Any circumstances surrounding the commission of a crime that increase its seriousness or add to its injurious consequences.

, stress, and money."

And Smith has now given that trend its own newsletter, Dispute Resolution Alert, "An Update on World Developments in Arbitration and Mediation."

The monthly is priced at $177/year.

Providing editorial content will be neutrals on the staff of JAMS, a nationally renowned ADR provider with offices in 20 cities across the U.S. That editorial model follows Smith's practice of publishing state-specific employment law newsletters using attorneys in local law firms This list of the world's largest law firms by revenue is taken from The Lawyer and The American Lawyer and is ordered by 2006 revenue:[1]

"Because Alternative Dispute Resolution is still in its adolescence adolescence, time of life from onset of puberty to full adulthood. The exact period of adolescence, which varies from person to person, falls approximately between the ages 12 and 20 and encompasses both physiological and psychological changes. , it's constantly being shaped by new legal and legislative developments," said chairman and publisher M. Lee Smith, referring to an ideal moment in an industry--its adolescence--to launch a newsletter.

"That's why we've decided to introduce Dispute Resolution Alert. Each fast-read, 8-page issue will cover the very latest news, trends, techniques, and developments impacting the world of arbitration and mediation, to help attorneys, arbiters, and mediators stay fully up to date," Smith said.

Carew also told NL/NL that the company plans to launch Training Law Alert: An Update on Legal Issues in Employee Training in November. It will be an 8-page national monthly, with an introductory subscription price of $147/year.
