Lynx Photonic Networks Moves to Larger U.S. Headquarters; Significant Upgrade in Facilities Shows Lynx's Commitment to Corporate Growth in California.

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)---April 2, 2001

Lynx Photonic Networks (www.LynxPN.com), developer of patented planar waveguide waveguide, device that controls the propagation of an electromagnetic wave so that the wave is forced to follow a path defined by the physical structure of the guide.  photonic switches and sub-systems, has moved their U.S. operations to a brand new 34,000-square-foot facility in Calabasas Hills, Calif.

This expansion comes just six short months after beginning their U.S. operations in 5,000 square feet of space in Woodland Hills, Calif.

"While the physical move may have only been a few miles down the freeway, the significance is major", said Michael Leigh Michael Leigh is an artist, based in Cheshire, England and working mainly in the area of mail art. As well as working in his own name, he has produced work since 1980 as A1 Waste Paper Co. , president and co-founder of Lynx. "Lynx is making major breakthroughs and contributions to the world of all-optical switching, and this new facility will give us the room we need to deliver industry-leading customer support and innovative product development on a global scale."

The new U.S. headquarters will house sales, marketing, applications engineering, technical support, product management, and selected R&D operations. Lynx's wholly owned Israel-based subsidiary, which has also expanded into additional space this month, will continue to house core R&D efforts.

It is a colorless solid that is insoluble in water. Its melting point is 1257 °C and its density is 4.65 g/cm³. Its CAS number is [12031-63-9].  substrate with a switching time of <5 nanoseconds.
