Lynda Stewart, ABC, Wins IABC Research Foundation Lifetime Friend Award.

Lynda Stewart, ABC, has been an ardent supporter of IABC since the '70s when she served as president of IABC/Atlanta, and subsequently named Outstanding Chapter President in U.S. District 2. In 1975, she became accredited and was elected to the IABC executive board. She served as IABC chairman in 1981-82 and co-chaired IABC's former Educator Academy. Stewart was honored as an IABC Fellow, and in 1996 she began serving in IABC Research Foundation's think tank. In 1998, she received the IABC Chairman's award.

She remarks, "New York will be my 26th consecutive international conference, and I will have attended every Foundation luncheon and seminar at conference since that special program was added to the conference agenda."
