Lutris Technologies, a leading open source enterprise software and services company, announced today an expanded licensing agreement with Inprise Corporation (Nasdaq: INPR), herein referred to as Borland, a leading provider of e-business implementation platform solutions.

The goal of the relationship is to provide out-of-the-box, a unified development, prototyping and debugging platform for Enhydra Internet applications. Under terms of the agreement, Lutris Enhydra 3.5 will include Borland(R) JBuilder(TM) 4 Foundation for Windows(R), Linux(R) and Solaris(TM), development wizards for wired and wireless Internet applications, build rules to facilitate fast prototyping from within the JBuilder development platform, and tools that automate the deployment of Lutris Enhydra applications.

The Lutris integration to the JBuilder development environment provides tight integration to the Java development environment and the Java/Extensible Markup Language (XML) application server. Developers use wizards to easily create new HTML, Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) or i-mode Lutris Enhydra application skeletons. Similarly, Lutris Enhydra developers benefit from the Flexible Editor, Code Insight(TM), Visual Debugger(TM), Build System and Package Builder to author, debug, and deploy their Lutris Enhydra applications.
