Luther Kent and Trick Bag: Live (ReneGade Records Renrec CD 012).

Luther Kent and Trick Bag: Live (ReneGade Records Renrec CD 012)

Up from New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded  comes another dynamite recording job from Don Turnipseed, but not on his label. This is a dynamite live session of horn-driven blues featuring the energetic vocals of Luther Kent. Believe me, these guys burn, and the dynamic but oh-so-clean sound will have your jumping just like the New Orleans Hilton Riverside Hotel Riverside Hotel is a name used by several hotels including:
  • Riverside Hotel (St. Francis) Registered National Historic Place in Minnesota
  • Riverside Hotel (Reno) Registered National Historic Place in Nevada
  • Riverside Hotel (Clarksdale)
must have been jumping on the night of April 26, 1996, when Trick Bag was captured by Turnipseed's microphones as they ripped through standards such as "29 Ways," "Hoochie Coochie Man, ""Born Under a Bad Sign," "I Can't Quit You Baby," and yes, "Trick Bag." If you can't find this at your local record store, ReneGade Records' address is 814 Conti Conti (kôNtē`), cadet branch of the French royal house of Bourbon. Although the title of prince of Conti was created in the 16th cent.  St, New Orleans, LA 70112, and their phone number is 504/523-6338. Tell 'em KWN KWN Kid Witness News (video education program)
