Dr. James Swanney accepts the position of President of Luna Medical Technologies Inc. (the "Company") (OTCBB:LNMD)

The Company wishes to announce the appointment of Dr. James Swanney as President of Luna Medical Technologies Inc. Over the past 31 years Dr. Swanney has developed extensive experience in the corporate aspects of health care provisions both in the public and private sectors. Dr. Swanney left Pfizer Canada to return to British Columbia to set up a private medical practice and was a founding partner in the Family Medicine Research Centre conducting research for both government and industry. Dr. Swanney's experience includes setting up and developing services for a major mining company, developing drug and alcohol treatment programs, a term as a School Trustee and held the position of president of MSA General Hospital a large medical staff organization.

Dr. Swanney holds a post graduate qualifications in Medical Jurisprudence and Toxicology obtaining his medical degree from Glasgow Scotland in 1969 and working as industrial medical director for Rolls Royce (1971) Ltd. prior to joining Placer Development in 1973. Dr. Swanney joined Pfizer Canada in 1979 and gained invaluable experience in the pharmaceutical and corporate industry throughout Canada.

Luna Medical Technologies Ltd. is also pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Elizabeth Findlay as a Director of Luna Medical Technologies Inc. Ms. Findlay has extensive management expertise in acute care and surgical services. Ms. Findlay was a founding partner of the Women's Health Centers recently acquired by Luna Medical Technologies Inc.

Ms. Findlay holds a Master Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Nursing Science. She is extremely familiar with the medical systems and the opportunities in both Canada and the United States. Ms Findlay will add both depth and expertise in the development of the Women's Health Centers together with a high level of practical experience in the micro management of the health care industry.

Mr. Stuart McNeill, the former President of Luna Medical Technologies Inc., will remain on the Board of Directors of the Company and is pleased to welcome both Dr. Swanney and Ms. Findlay to the Board of Directors.
