Lumeta Unveils ExportViewer; Enables Rapid Integration of IPsonar Network Intelligence via Web Services.

SOMERSET, N.J. -- Lumeta, the leading provider of network intelligence for enterprises and government agencies, today introduced ExportViewer, a new application within the company's flagship IPsonar(R) software suite that streamlines and automates the integration of IPsonar with 3rd party security risk management applications. With ExportViewer, IPsonar users can automate the flow of critical network intelligence in order to better protect business assets from increasingly complex security threats.

ExportViewer has been specifically developed based on extensive feedback from Lumeta customers who wanted to leverage IPsonar's unique view of IP networks via web services such as XML and XSL to integrate information flows between IPsonar and their existing security risk management solutions. Many organizations are seeking to expand their investments in security risk management solutions such as device vulnerability management, patch management and security information management systems. They need to have a clear picture of how networks enable communications between employees, customers and partners in order to determine whether or not security countermeasures are effective. IPsonar provides this visibility into the operational state of network security, with ExportViewer providing the conduit for automating security risk management tasks that previously required custom integration.

--3rd party security risk management applications via their native XML formats.

--Desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel or 3rd party applications via CSV formats.

ExportViewer can also be used in command line mode for embedding IPsonar export capabilities into a wide range of security risk management workflow processes.
