Lugene Opticians has leased 2,200 square feet of space on the ground floor of 500 Park Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets, where it has relocated its flagship New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

"Lugene Opticians is one of the finest eyewear designers and manufacturers in the country, and Park Avenue and 59th Street is a perfect location for them," said William M. Korchak, director of leasing for COMPASS Management and Leasing, which took over management and leasing of 500 Park Avenue in February 1991.

Frank Gallo and Josh Dionne of The SMLT SMLT Split Multi Link Trunking  Group represented the tenant in the transaction, the terms of which were not disclosed.

Lugene Opticians has another New York store at 77th Street and Third Avenue. The company's other stores are in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Palm Beach, Washington, D.C., Boston, New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded , and Pittsburgh.
