ITI is a membership organization composed of approximately 30 large high-tech companies. to provide recording and playback services for its internal teleconferencing network, effective Oct. 30, 1997. Lucent Technologies, which had revenues for the nine months ended June 1997 exceeding $19 billion, designs, develops and manufactures telecommunication systems, software and products. Lucent recently announced a reorganization, effective Nov. 1, 1997, that will allow it to focus on high-growth areas such as wireless, semiconductors, data networking and optical networking. Lucent Technologies was referred by AT&T's Executive Teleconferencing Division, another ITI client and marketing partner. AT&T and Lucent chose ITI to provide them with quick and affordable communication solutions for telephone-based applications. Initial discussions between Interactive Telesis and Lucent have identified an opportunity for ITI to provide recording and playback functions for teleconferencing networks and services now being marketed by Lucent Technologies.
