Lube the linkage.


Coming up on a sharp curve as you drive your HMMWV HMMWV High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV is a trademark of AM General LLC; aka HUMVEE, also a trademark of AM General LLC)  is not the best time to find out the accelerator accelerator: see particle accelerator.


(1) A key combination such as Alt-G or Ctrl-Shift H that is used to activate a task.

(2) An incubator that expects to develop the company considerably faster than normal. See incubator.

In mechanical engineering, a system of solid, usually metallic, links (bars) connected to two or more other links by pin joints (hinges), sliding joints, or ball-and-socket joints to form a closed chain or a series of closed chains.
 is sticking. If the linkage won't move after you've taken your foot off the pedal, slowing down can become a little more complicated!

That's exactly what can happen if the linkage doesn't get lubed regularly. So make sure you give the linkage a few squirts of OE/HDO as required.

Then, move the linkage back and forth by hand a few times to work in the oil.
